Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data XenAI Limited collects through this website, why, and what your rights are.

Who we are

XenAI Limited is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16692418. We are the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@xenai.co.uk.

What we collect

Enquiries. If you send us an enquiry through a form on this site, we receive the name, email address, organisation (if you give one), course of interest and message that you enter. If you write to us by email, we receive whatever you send.

Technical data. When you send a form, your IP address is used for a short time to limit abuse. It is not stored with your enquiry. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.

This site sets no cookies for visitors and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use enquiry data only to reply to you and to arrange what you have asked about. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us and, where you are asking about a service, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. These companies process data for us, and only on our instructions:

  • Vercel hosts this website.
  • Railway hosts the database that holds enquiries.
  • Cloudflare runs our domain name service and forwards email sent to our address.
  • Google provides the mailbox in which we read that email.

Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, it is protected by the safeguards that UK law requires: the UK-US data bridge where the company is certified under it, and otherwise contract terms approved for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as the conversation it started is active, and delete it within 12 months after that.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to or ask us to restrict how we use it. To do any of these, write to us at the address above.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Write to us.

Research collaboration, an applied project, or training for your team. One email is enough.
